My client had identified a highly lucrative niche audience and was keen to capitalise on the interest in and success of social networking.

A great deal of time was spent thinking through the issues and objectives and how best to harness the potential of the web. I felt it was important to keep the functionality and usability relatively straightforward for launch to enable us to understand how people were using it. Users are able to perform a range of tasks including: sign up and create/manage their own profiles, join and create groups, ask questions and offer advice, find accommodation, look for a job and a course.
